Problem Statement

The idea for Reelit came from a personal experience when I was travelling to Chandigarh to drop my sister at her college. During the long journey, the internet connection kept disappearing, especially in low-network areas, making it difficult to watch short-form content. I realized that millions of people travelling by trains, buses, and flights face the same problem every day. Existing platforms are primarily built for continuous internet connectivity, so I decided to build Reelit... a travel-first entertainment platform that lets users download personalized short-form content before a journey and watch it seamlessly offline.

Solution Overview

Reelit is a travel-first short-form entertainment platform designed for moments when internet connectivity becomes unreliable or unavailable. Before starting a journey, users simply choose their interests and travel duration, and Reelit prepares personalized short-form content for offline viewing. The downloaded content can be watched seamlessly during the journey without buffering or internet access. Instead of manually searching and downloading individual videos, Reelit makes offline entertainment simple, personalized, and ready before the journey begins.
